Setting your event apart and make it truly personal and unique, your up-lighting arrangement will be pre-planned, professionally designed and customized for your specific event based on room arrangement, your desires and everything it takes to make it the absolute best it can be for your event. Things to keep in mind: The room needs to be darkened enough enough for best up-lighting use. (consider the time of day your event is scheduled for, evenings are best). Ask the Event manager to be sure they allow the lights to be turned down low during your event and also it's a good idea to check with your photographer be sure room lighting will not affect their job. I have worked with many of the best venues in the New England area and can offer my personal insight as to what the best lighting options will be for each venue.
Washes of Color
Our most popular effect is to provide washes of color or colors around the room. They can either be set to static color or fade through colors at varying speeds. Each of these effects adds energy to the room, works great for dancing.
Try to keep it simple by being subtle. In this way of applying up-lighting, the focus is on having the lighting complement the venue/event, but not allowing it to distract or become annoying. One way of applying this method is to choose one color to match your theme. Under Table lighting is a wonderful effect for the cake or gift table, or even the head.sweetheart table. By having white linens surrounding the table and placing a light (or lights) inside the table can add washes of color to the physical table in the room and looks amazing. Because we use modern LED style lights, they are also "intelligent" meaning they can be synchronized together and even computer programmed to change colors simultaneously, or in different pattens or effects. They never get hot and use very little power.
